Hamlet town officials encourage residents to participate in this year’s outdoor holiday decoration contest Saturday, December 18.
Judging will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CT. If residents want to participate, simply have lighted decorations turned on at that time.
The first place prize is $100, the second place prize is $75, and third place is $50. Those finishing in fourth and fifth places will receive $25.
