The Knox Community School Board members will take public comments tonight on the proposed contract for the superintendent.
The contract remains the same from this school year to the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years. The basic salary is $115,500 with the board’s contribution of health, vision and dental insurance costs, along with long-term disability insurance, term life insurance, tax sheltered annuity, and Social Security. The superintendent would receive 20 days of paid vacation per year, and 11 paid holidays.
The contract will be up for acceptance during the board’s first meeting in January. The notice and details on the salary and benefits can be found here.
The school board will also discuss a Memorandum of Understanding with the JAG program, the 2022-2023 school calendar, and consider January 31 as a professional development/eLearning Day for the corporation.
Several resolutions will be considered for year-end financial matters, as well as the reduction of the 2021 Rainy Day appropriation of about $556,000.
