Several opportunities are available for residents to consider running for elected office in 2022.
Interested candidates may file for office beginning Wednesday, January 5 through Friday, February 4.
In Pulaski County, the positions open include Commissioner District 3, four county council seats, Assessor, Clerk, Coroner, Prosecutor, Sheriff, Surveyor, township trustees, advisory boards, Francesville Clerk-Treasurer, three Francesville Town Council seats, and two seats on the Winamac Town Council.
In Starke County, the positions open include Circuit Court Judge, Sheriff, Prosecuting Attorney, Recorder, Auditor, Clerk, Coroner, Assessor, Commissioner District 2, County Council Districts 1-4, township trustees, and advisory boards.
School Board candidates will not file until Wednesday, July 27 for the General Election.
