The Knox Board of Works members will open bids this morning for the demolition of the Knox Moose Lodge. The cost will be covered, in part, by a Blight Elimination grant.
The board members will also open bids for a backhoe for the Street Department.
In other business, they will consider the approval of a new hire for the Knox City Police Department. Director of Building and Code Compliance and Zoning Administrator Kenny Pfost will present several updates on properties deemed to be under compliance orders.
All other department heads will present updates as necessary.
The Knox Board of Works members will meet at 9:30 a.m. CT at Knox City Hall at 101 W. Washington Street.
