More Candidates File for 2022 Primary Election in Starke, Pulaski Counties

More candidates are filing for office in the 2022 Primary Election.

In Starke County, Republican Kim Hall has filed for re-election as Starke County Circuit Court Judge, Republican Dennis Fornelli for Starke County Sheriff, Democrat Kay Chaffins for Railroad Township Trustee, Democrat Suzie Woods for Wayne Township Trustee, and Democrats Rob Olejniczak, Teresa Sitek, Jeff Houston, Michaelene Houston, and Dorine Godinez for Precinct Committeeman.  Republican Tom DeCola withdrew his candidacy for Starke County Auditor, but filed for Starke County Council District 4.

In Pulaski County, Democrat Jennifer Weaver-Keller filed for Pulaski County Surveyor, Republican Michael “Big Mike” Tiede filed for Pulaski County Council District 4, Republican John Mike McClure filed for County Commissioner District 3, Republican Michelle D. Schmicker filed for Monroe Township Trustee, Republican Kelly M Gaumer for Prosecuting Attorney and State Convention Delegate, Republican Jeffrey K. Richwine for County Council District 2, Democrat Josh Stacy for County Council District 3, Republican A. Louise Gudas for Harrison Township Advisory Board, Republican Pamela J. Chumley for Franklin Township Trustee, Democrat Douglas A. Denton for Tippecanoe Township Precinct Committee Person, Democrat Kelli M. Denton for Tippecanoe Township Advisory Board, Republican Lenora K. Hoover for Van Buren Township Trustee, Republican Tom Thomas for Francesville Town Council, Republican Rick Brick for White Post Township Advisory Board, Republican Kaila Stukofski for Beaver Township Trustee, and Republican Jeremy Beckner for Monroe Township Advisory Board. 

Candidates have until Friday, February 4 to file for office.
