A draft of the five-year Master Parks plan for the Town of North Judson has been submitted to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, according to Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe.
“They’ll review that and send back comments in anticipation for our April submittal of our DNR facilities grant application and plan,” said Rowe.
He said the town will work with The Troyer Group to finalize the plan. Once the formal plan is approved, the town will be able to apply for grant funds to make some of the projects in the plan a reality.
Rowe noted that the draft plan includes public input on projects that residents would like to see at the parks in town such as seating improvements, restrooms, tourism features, and recreational activities. As this is a draft plan, more details on projects will be announced as they come along in the finalized plan.
