The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members approved the purchase of new buses for the corporation, according to Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin.
“We purchased three, 2023 78-passenger buses and we will trade three of our 2010 buses,” said Dr. Zupin. “We went with Midwest Transit. They had a competitive bid and they were able to do trade-ins. The cost of the three buses, after all of the trade-in allowances, will be $295,947.”
Dr. Zupin noted that the purchases follow the Bus Replacement Plan as previously approved by the board.
