The Oregon-Davis School Board held a public hearing on the superintendent’s contract when they met last week.
The superintendent’s base salary is posted at $98,000 from this school year through the 2023-2024 school year. The contract also includes the board’s cost of health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, long-term disability insurance, term life insurance, Teacher’s Retirement Fund, and Social Security. The superintendent would receive 25 days of paid vacation, 12 paid holidays per year, and 12 PTO days. The proposed contract is posted below.
There were no public comments on the proposed contract. The board will take action on the contract in an upcoming meeting.
Superintendent Bill Bennett told WKVI News that the board did reorganize last week where Kyle Hinds was retained as president, Brandie Ecker as vice president and Ben Lady as secretary.
