Officials from the Pulaski County Public Library recently announced that the library was the recipient of a Communities for Immunity Round 2 award in support of work to promote vaccine confidence in Pulaski County.
The Pulaski County Public Library is one of 50 museums, libraries and tribal organizations nationwide to be awarded funding through this initiative led by the Association of Science and Technology Centers and the American Alliance of Museums.
The $23,089 award will allow the library to work with Pulaski Memorial Hospital to provide mobile vaccine clinics in every incorporated town in the county. Clinic dates will be announced soon.
Communities for Immunity is made possible with support from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
