The West Central School Board members approved the purchase of a new PA system last week.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said the upgrade will be done soon.
“That’s going to add some external speakers and also unify the PA system on the entire campus for safety reasons,” said Zylstra. “We are paying two-thirds of that through the safety grant.”
The total cost of the PA system is $72,000, but as Zylstra said, two-thirds of the cost will be covered by the safety grant.
