The Pulaski County Public Library and Pulaski Memorial Hospital are working together to offer COVID-19 vaccination clinics to the residents of Pulaski County.
The Pulaski County Public Library was recently named a recipient of a Communities for Immunity Round 2 award in support of work to promote vaccine confidence in Pulaski County. The $23,089 award allows the library to work with Pulaski Memorial Hospital to provide mobile vaccine clinics in every incorporated town in the county.
Pulaski County has the highest rate of COVID-19 deaths per capita in the State of Indiana, according to the state’s coronavirus dashboard. Health officials say the COVID-19 vaccine provides strong protection against serious illness and death from COVID-19.
The mobile clinics will be Wednesday, February 9, at the Monterey Family Clinic at 6194 E. Main Street, Thursday, February 10, at the Westside Center at 510 E. Main Street in Medaryville, and Friday, February 11, at the Francesville Family Medicine office at 112 E. Montgomery Street. All clinics will be open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
Follow reports from WKVI’s Charlie Adams during each event.
All participants will receive vouchers for free items and prize drawings will be offered.
