A flood warning remains in effect until further notice on the Tippecanoe River in Winamac.
Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
As of Sunday night, the river was at 12.4 feet and the flood stage is at 10.0 feet. The river is expected to fall to 11.8 feet Friday evening.
According to the National Weather Service, at 11.5 feet, houses and lots are flooded in eastern parts of Winamac near the State Road 14 bridge, along with areas of the Winamac Town Park.
