North Judson Redevelopment Commission Looks at Potential Projects, Special Town Council Meeting Tonight

The North Judson Redevelopment Commission members reviewed some potential projects when they met last week. 

Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said Jane Ellen Felchuk went through a list of potential

projects that she has been maintaining which includes the completion of the dog park, ways to expand the cemetery, consulting with an engineer to review traffic flow in the cemetery to free up more ground, Christmas lighting and adding infrastructure to extend the amount of lights featured, historic displays at the North Judson Town Hall, Wayfinding signs, adding trees downtown, adding a fifth employee to work with Utility Department/Park Department, updated downtown banners, and potential solar equipment to be utilized for town offices that would be placed on top of the town buildings.

Rowe said those are just a few of the potential projects that have been discussed.  No formal plans have been approved at this time. 

The North Judson Town Council members will meet in special session tonight there they are anticipated to talk about an update to the salary ordinance and an update to the town employee handbook.   That meeting will begin at 6 p.m. CT tonight at the North Judson Town Hall at 310 Lane Street.
