The Oregon-Davis School Board members considered the superintendent’s contract when they met last week.
Board President Kyle Hinds highlighted a portion of the contract.
Hinds stated, “The board, over the past year, has addressed every staff member’s wages to some extent so we elected to reevaluate the superintendent contract. We have renewed it for one additional year from the initial three year contract, and we have increased the salary from $95,000 to $98,000.”
Hinds also stated that the contract adds language that the superintendent would receive any additional administrative stipends given to other administrators.
A public hearing was held previously with no public comments.
The board members offered no additional comments and they approved the superintendent’s contract with a unanimous vote.
