Several races have formed on the ballot in the Pulaski County Primary Election.
Two Republicans have filed for Pulaski County Clerk of the Circuit Court including Incumbent JoLynn Behny and Patricia Sullivan. They will face off in the Primary Election.
Voters will have to choose five Republican candidates for State Convention Delegate out of the eight candidates who have filed. They include JoLynn Behny, Kelly M. Gaumer, Douglas L. Gutwein, Emily Hizer, Daniel P. Murphy, Holly VanDerAa, Laura M. Wheeler, and Brian Young.
Voters will choose from Incumbent Republican Holly VanDerAA and Republican Shianne Zellers for Pulaski County Assessor.
For County Commissioner District 3, one Republican candidate will be chosen from three who have filed. Those candidates are Ronald “Rudy” DeSabatine, John Mike McClure, and Laura M. Wheeler.
The Pulaski County Council District 1 race includes Republican candidates Bradley J. Bonnell and Stephanie Wheeler.
Two Democrats will face off in the Pulaski County Council District 3 race. Robert M. Keller, Jr. and Josh Stacy will be on the Primary Election ballot. One candidate will meet Republican Incumbent Brian Young on the General Election ballot.
The Pulaski County Council District 4 candidates are Republicans William G. Boehning, and Incumbent Michael “Big Mike” Tiede.
Two candidates will be chosen for the two open Winamac Town Council seats. Three Republican candidates have filed including Incumbent Alvin R. Parish, James (Jim) Watkins and Danyelle Weaver.
Two Republican candidates will face off for Monroe Township Trustee including Michelle D. Schmicker and Debra A. Winter.
Three Republican candidates have filed for the Salem Township Trustee position. Michael L. Gayer, Jay Johnson and Sara C. Strus will be on the Primary Election ballot to narrow it to one candidate for the General Election.
