There were 2,062 new COVID-19 cases reported in the state from February 1 to February 6 with nine new cases in Marshall County, four new cases in Starke County and three new cases in Pulaski County, according to Monday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Marshall County has had 12,113 total cases of COVID-19, while Starke County has had 4,636 and Pulaski County has had 2,982. The state’s total number of COVID-19 cases since March 6, 2020, is 1,651,981.
There were no new deaths reported.
The number of COVID-19 patients in hospitals in the state keeps dropping. Sunday’s census was at 2,234, according to the state’s coronavirus website.
