The Starke County government offices will be closed Wednesday, February 2 due to expected severe weather, but Starke County Circuit Court is open and hearings will go on as scheduled.
The offices have been closed to the public as a precaution against the spread of the COVID-19 virus, but community members have been able to call the offices to make appointments to conduct business. However, there will be no business conducted Wednesday at any of the government offices in Starke County.
The commissioners will re-evaluate the COVID-19-related closure following their meeting Monday, February 7.
