The Warning Level travel advisory remains in effect in Starke County which means travel is restricted to emergency travel only.
The travel status will be reevaluated at 5 p.m. CT Thursday.
Starke County EMA Director Joseph Williams said county roads are drifted and paved surfaces underneath are extremely slick. Winds will gust up to 30 mph and additional snowfall is in the forecast.
The Starke County Highway Department continues to work throughout the day as they work on 799 miles of roads in the county.
