The Eastern Pulaski School Board members agreed to increase adult food prices during their meeting last week, according to Superintendent Dara Chezem.
“We are required to a set price based on USDA that is monitored by the Department of Education and the State Board of Accounts, so our food prices will raise to $4.60 for lunch and $2.50 for breakfast. Those are for the adult prices because the student prices are still free.”
Chezem added that the new price reflects a $2.00 increase in the lunch price from last year.
