More counties are entering the blue status on the Indiana Department of Health’s County Metrics Map. The blue status means a low community spread of COVID-19.
Marshall County is in the blue status this week while Starke County and Pulaski County are in the yellow status on the map. The yellow status means there is a moderate spread of COVID-19 in the community.
There are more blue status counties than yellow status counties in the state this week as the spread of COVID-19 virus appears to weaken.
In Wednesday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health, there were five new cases of COVID-19 in Starke County, three new cases in Marshall County, and one case in Pulaski County. Statewide there were 437 people in the state who tested positive with COVID-19.
Another 77 people in the state have died of COVID-19 between October 11 and March 7.
