The North Judson Town Council members continue to discuss plans for the upcoming Community Crossings Matching Grant application due in July and a stormwater project in an area of town.
The town is working with USI Consultants in a paving and stormwater project in the area of Sheridan Avenue, Laurel Street, and Cherry Street. During last week’s meeting, Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe stated that Leslie Street and Walnut Street have been added to the project.
“Just off Highway 39 there’s an area where on Leslie Street where there’s a bowl shape where water is retained so there’s going to be some drainage and repaving,” said Rowe.
The council plans on using funds from the second round of the American Rescue Plan Act to pay for a portion of the project.
