The North Judson Town Council members made the decision last week to add an area to an upcoming Community Crossings Matching Grant (CCMG) project application.
The upcoming application is focused on an area in town that is prone to high water, standing water and flooding. Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said one additional area on Leslie Street has been included.
Rowe stated, “This is the storm water and CCMG project and the bulk of the project concerns Sheridan Avenue, Laurel Street, and part of Cherry Street which is over near Burger King – sort of the northwestern neighborhood in town.”
The process now involves cost analysis of the project to be included in the application due in July. USI Consultants is assisting the town in the next steps.
