The Starke County Commissioners will meet tonight where they will hold a second public hearing concerning a COVID grant. They will also review the bids that came in for the projects selected to receive funding from finalist money in the Regional Stellar Communities Designation program in 2019.
Maggie Dickerson from USI Consultants will provide an update on the Community Crossing Matching Grant program, a Federal Aid process opportunity, the ADA Transition Plan and American Rescue Plan Act funding.
Starke County Economic Development Foundation Executive Director Lisa Dan will present the three lead track maintenance/repair quotes.
Additionally, the commissioners will act on a Court Services appointment, a K-IRPC appointment and a Convention and Visitor’s Commission board member resignation.
The Starke County Commissioners will meet at 5 p.m. CT tonight in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex Building No. 1 at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
