The Starke County Council members will meet tonight where they will hold a public hearing concerning creating an Economic Revitalization Area where Mammoth Solar will be constructing solar projects. This is the first step in the tax abatement process.
The council will also hear from EMS Director Eric Wood about an ambulance proposal, while IT Director Richard Franks will discuss cybersecurity.
A salary ordinance amendment will be reviewed that would include an update to coroner deputies.
The Starke County Council will meet at 4:30 p.m. CT today in the ground floor meeting room in Starke County Annex Building No. 1 at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
