The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announced Monday that RAM Construction Services will begin a bridge preventative maintenance project on the U.S. 35 bridge over the Yellow River in Knox on or after Monday, April 18.
As a result, the bridge will be reduced to one lane for a bridge deck overlay preventative maintenance project with a temporary traffic signal to direct traffic.
The project is anticipated to continue through the end of June.
INDOT officials urge residents to be prepared to wait for the temporary traffic signal. Motorists are encouraged to allow extra time when driving through the area.
