Bridge preventative maintenance work by RAM Construction Services will take place in two locations on U.S. 30 beginning Monday, April 25.
Officials at the Indiana Department of Transportation say U.S. 30 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between County Road 750 E. and County Road 500 N. over the Jain Ditch in Starke County, and between Thompson Street and County Road 1350 S. over the Hunsley Ditch in La Porte County. The right lanes and shoulders will be closed during phase one, which will take approximately two weeks. Work will be ongoing through late May.
INDOT encourages drivers to allow extra time driving through the area and follow traffic directions carefully.
