The North Judson Mint Festival King and Queen, Little Miss and Mister, and Mint Darlings Pageants are set for Saturday, May 21, but contestants can begin signing up for the events next week.
Contestants must attend Starke County schools or live within Starke County. The King and Queen contestants must be between the ages of 16 and 20 and the Little Miss and Mister contestants must be between the ages of 5 and 6. The registration fee is $40. The Mint Darlings are from newborn to age 4 with a $10 registration fee.
Sign-up dates are Monday, April 11 and Monday, April 18 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT at the North Judson-Wayne Township Public Library. The deadline to register is Friday, April 29.
The Mint Darlings Pageant is Saturday, May 21 at 11 a.m. CT and the King and Queen and the Little Miss and Mister Pageants begin at 6 p.m. CT at the North Judson-San Pierre High School Auditorium.
