The Starke County Convention and Visitors Bureau is offering a grant opportunity to fund upcoming events that may promote conventions and tourism within the county.
An application is required. Grant requests of up to $2,000 will be considered by the members of the Starke County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The requests should be for advertising, promotional activities, trade shows, special events or recreation. Operating expenses or salaries will NOT be considered for funding.
Applications should be submitted to Kathy Norem at knorem.starke@gmail.com by Friday, May 13. Those awarded funds will be notified no later than May 25.
Grant funds are made available from the county Innkeeper Tax.
