Town of North Judson Looking for Contractor for Assistance with Spring Clean-up

The Town of North Judson is seeking a contractor to help with spring clean-up this season.

North Judson Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe said the contractor who helped in the last effort is no longer in business.

“In the last year we did it, we actually had trucks and vehicles that were able to go down alleys and go down roads for those who were unable to transport their rubbish or things they wanted to get cleared out to the Street Department area where there were trailers in order to haul them out,” commented Rowe.

The town will be looking to find help in the next couple of months.

Along the same conversation, leaf pick-up in North Judson is ongoing.

Additionally, Utility Superintendent Joe Leszek commented during the latest North Judson Town Council meeting that there is blockage in lift stations on James Street and Oakwood.  Leszek urges residents not to flush wipes down the toilet or any other items other than toilet paper into the town’s sanitary system in order to keep equipment in prime working condition.
