Voters Cast Ballots in Opening Day of in-Person Early Voting

Early in-person voting began Tuesday throughout the state.  In Starke County, 15 people voted in the Starke County Clerk’s Office and 23 people voted in the Microfilm Room in the Pulaski County Courthouse on the opening day. 

In Starke County, in-person early voting runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Starke County Clerk’s Office until Friday, April 29.  There will be no voting Friday, April 15.  Early voting will be offered Saturday, April 23 and Saturday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. CT in the Clerk’s Office.

Satellite voting will be available at the North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department Wednesday, April 20 through Friday, April 22 from noon to 6 p.m. CT, and Saturday, April 23 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.   Satellite voting will also be available at the Koontz Lake Association Building Wednesday, April 27 to Friday, April 29 from noon to 6 p.m. CT and Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. CT.

In Pulaski County, in-person early voting runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET in the Pulaski County Courthouse Microfilm Room until Friday, April 29.  Early voting will also be offered Saturday, April 23 and Saturday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to noon ET at the courthouse.  Satellite voting will be available at the Francesville Fire Station Saturday, April 23 and Saturday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to noon ET.

The last opportunity to vote in person in both counties is Monday, May 2 from 8 a.m. to noon local time.

The last day to send absentee mail ballot applications to the clerk is Thursday, April 21.  Ballots must be returned no later than Monday, May 2 at noon ET.
