The American Red Cross is looking to collect blood donations to keep up supplies before families travel abroad for summer vacations.
According to the Red Cross, volunteer donors are the only source of blood for patients with blood disorders, trauma victims and those experiencing difficult childbirths.
All who donate blood through May 19, will receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice and will also be automatically entered to win a travel trailer camper that sleeps eight.
A Blood Drive is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET at the Knights of Columbus at 340 E. 50 N. in Winamac.
Another blood drive is scheduled for Thursday, May 19, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT at the St. Peter Lutheran Church at 810 W. Talmer Avenue in North Judson.
