A few opportunities are available this month to take advantage of mobile food pantries in the area.
The Food Bank of Northern Indiana Mobile Food Pantry will be at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in North Judson today (Wednesday, May 11) from 10 a.m. to noon CT while supplies last. This distribution is expected to serve 150 households.
The Food Finders Food Bank Mobile Pantry will be at the Star City United Methodist Church Friday, May, 13 at 11 a.m. ET, and at the Winamac Town Park Friday, May 27, at 11 a.m. ET. Both events will be a drive-thru distribution. All clients should remain in vehicles and no one should arrive prior to 10:30 a.m. ET.
The Mobile Food Pantry program is available for those in need of food assistance and who meet eligibility guidelines.
