A Teen Center will soon occupy the basement of the Culver Beach Lodge.
Park Superintendent Amber Cowell told the Culver Town Council members last week that the Culver Crossroads Youth Team presented information to the Culver Redevelopment Commission members who agreed to provide funding for a proposed Teen Center at the Beach Lodge.
Cowell said the Culver Redevelopment Commission agreed to give $15,500 toward the purchase of furnishings. She hopes to work on that with the youth members in between activities during the busy summer season as senior members are excited to see that project complete.
