The Culver Community School Board will hold a work session at 5 p.m. ET tonight to interview prospective appointees to the school board. The person eventually chosen will take the place of Karen Lee who vacated the seat in May. The board members are expected to make a decision during their regular meeting following the work session.
During their regular meeting at 7 p.m. ET, the Board members will hold a public hearing concerning the superintendent’s contract, and a public hearing on the 5th Amendment to Lease concerning the upcoming building projects.
The board will consider approving an asbestos inspection agreement, painting bids, summer school programs, Math textbook adoption, the second reading of policies, the food service renewal, and several resolutions.
Superintendent Karen Shuman will have several updates for the board, including the recognition of Theresa Thompson. Treasurer and Business Manager Casey Howard will also have updates for the board.
The Culver Community School Board’s regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. ET tonight in the Administration Office at 700 School Street in Culver.
