The week-long Pulaski County 4-H Fair gets underway today.
4-H participants will continue to enter exhibits throughout the day. 4-H public speaking begins at 1 p.m. and open class exhibits can be entered at 5:30 p.m. The Winamac Park Board is sponsoring a movie night in the Winamac Town Park at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Saturday’s activities include the 3-on-3 basketball tournament at 9 a.m., cornhole tournament at 1 p.m. with registration at 11:30 a.m., glass blowing demonstrations from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., the recognition program at 3 p.m., the 4-H Fashion Review at 4 p.m., and the tractor pull at 6 p.m. ET.
Sunday’s activities include the blacksmith demonstration at 11 a.m., the garden tractor pull at 1 p.m., the pedal tractor pull at 1 p.m., the Little Miss and Mr. Pulaski pageant at 4 p.m., the 4-H Petroleum Power Operators contest at 5 p.m., and the Miss Pulaski County pageant at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Monday will feature $5 walking tacos by the Pulaski County Extension homemakers, and Pulaski County Public Library hosts the La Porte Public Library’s RV technology equipped maker space.
The 4-H Exhibit buildings open at 10 a.m. beginning Monday through the week of the Pulaski County Fair. The fair closes Thursday, June 30.
