The Town of North Judson is gearing up for the Mint Festival.
Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe told the North Judson Town Council members last week that certain plans have been finalized with Town Marshal Kelly Fisher.
“Kelly has been in contact with Donna Henry about the hours and security that they’re looking for from the Police Department,” said Rowe. “They’re hoping to spread the word to our residents – normally we have residents put brush out and they do a pick-up the last week of the month on Thursday. They’re asking residents to hold back any brush they have from putting it out to the street until after the Mint Fest.”
The Mint Festival begins at 5 p.m. CT Friday, June 17 with opening ceremonies and closes Sunday, June 19 in the early evening. More detailed activities and schedules will be provided in upcoming reports.
