The North Judson-San Pierre School Board members accepted a generous donation during their meeting last week, according to Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin.
“We were the recipient of a nice, very generous $35,000 donation from former Bluejay basketball legend, Eugene “Buzz” Bogash,” said Dr. Zupin. “Buzz graduated from North Judson-San Pierre in 1960 and he was a four-year star basketball player. That $35,000 donation was made to our men’s basketball program.”
Dr. Zupin said there is a plan in place to utilize the funds to honor his legacy.
Bogash passed away in May of last year.
