Knox Board of Public Works to Hold Public Hearing Today

The Knox Board of Public Works will hold a public hearing today for the code enforcement at 18 S. Main Street.  A fire occurred at the building on June 30.

The Director of Building, Planning and Code Compliance Kenny Pfost said in a previous meeting that nothing had been done as far as clean up.

Pfost said he sent a code enforcement and letters in order to demolish the building due to it being a hazard during the previous meeting.

The board will also review a right-of-way request from JW Hicks.

Department heads will also provide reports to the board.

Today’s meeting will be held at the Knox City Hall at 9:30 a.m. CT.
