The Knox School Board received an update on their new vocational wing addition.
Superintendent Dr. William Reichart said they are hopeful to be finished by Thanksgiving of this year.
He added, “We are making progress. It is slow. We are working around a lot of material shortages and the latest being that we can’t find the guts to a circuit breaker panel. That’s what’s holding us up right now.”
The vocational wing will feature an agricultural classroom and lab, a welding classroom and lab, and a robotics classroom and lab. The welding class is currently stationed in the Knox Community Middle School.
While some preliminary plans for that space have been proposed once the welding lab transition is complete, no plans have been finalized.
