The North Judson-San Pierre School Board discussed their 2022-2023 budgets during their Tuesday night meeting.
The resolution of the upcoming year’s Capital Projects categories and costs are
Technology $617,510, Electric and Gas $733,500, Hired Services $90,000, Roof Repairs $65,000, Service Agreements $45,000, and Furniture and Equipment $15,000.
The Bus Replacement Plan resolution portion of the Operations Fund will be budgeted at a projected cost of $315,000.
It was noted that in 2023 the board will transfer up to $1,000,000 from the Education Fund to the Operations Fund. By stating “up to”, this allows the board to transfer an amount they feel appropriate for their financial situation at the time of need. The board will be transferring monthly amounts instead of two large amounts in June and December.
All budget adoptions were passed.
