The Pulaski County Commissioners and Pulaski County Council discussed moving the Health Department to the West Annex in their joint session Monday night.
Pulaski County Community Development Commission Executive Director Nathan Origer presented the information.
Origer said, “One of our goals obviously with completing this project is to vacate the East Annex eventually. This project allows for most of the occupants in that building to relocate out of there but we are still left with Health Department, Extension, and the Adult Learning Center which is not a county department.”
A motion was unanimously approved to get preliminary costs on what it will take to renovate the West Annex in a bond as a bid alternative to the current ongoing Pulaski County Courthouse project.
