The Knox City Council will hold their budget adoption meeting on their 2023 budget tonight.
The council held their public hearing on September 13. At that meeting, the council opened up the floor for public comment with no comment made.
According to the notice on the Indiana Gateway website, the total budget request is about $3.3 million with about $1.6 million in the General Fund, $50,000 in Local Road and Street, about $440,000 in the Motor Vehicle Highway Fund, and almost $167,000 in the Park and Recreation Fund with other special funds included.
The budget adoption and regular meeting is set to begin at 6 p.m. CT. at Knox City Hall.
