Student Mural Project Completed on the Erie Trail

Lozzi and Whitcraft’s completed mural is located near the 200 E intersection of the Erie Trail

Visitors to the Erie Trail will have new scenery while walking or biking near the 200 E. intersection of the trail in Starke County.

According to information provided by Constellation of Starke Creatives Network and the Starke County Community Foundation, supporters of the project, Class of 2021 Knox High School Graduate Jordan Lozzi and current Knox High School Junior Emma Whitcraft completed a mural on a structure that was formerly a signal bungalow that helped direct local trains. The historic nature of the building was incorporated into the design of the mural.
