The Starke County Sheriff’s Office is currently taking applications for a basic gun safety course for women. The event is set for Saturday, September 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT at the Starke County Sheriff’s Office.
The first 18 women who are 21 years of age and older to apply will be in the course and any others will be placed on a waiting list. Participants must bring an unloaded handgun with a holster, 50 rounds of ammunition, ear protection, and eye protection.
