The Pulaski County Commissioners and County Council will meet in joint session this evening.
The commissioners and council members will have an update from Pulaski County Community Development Commission (CDC) Executive Director Nathan Origer. Origer is scheduled to discuss construction updates as well as the wage and benefit rate study.
Technology information will also be provided by the county’s IT Director.
An EMA position and a paramedic training update will be provided during the joint session which begins at 6 p.m. ET tonight.
Following the joint session, the Pulaski County Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. ET. A public hearing will be held for a LIT Rate reallocation, followed by an ordinance or resolution regarding that reallocation. Nathan Origer will discuss a Rainy Day Fund ordinance.
The 2023 budget is expected to be adopted during tonight’s meeting.
The council is anticipated to handle transfers and additional appropriations.
Both meetings will be held at the Pulaski County Highway Garage at 1131 N. U.S. 35 in Winamac.
