The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in portions of Northern Indiana from Tuesday night to Wednesday evening.
Officials say snow could accumulate 4 to 8 inches which will create hazardous conditions and impact travel. Starke County could receive a lesser accumulation of snow in this weather event with lesser amounts further north.
Wind gusts near 25 mph will result in blowing and drifting snow.
