The Knox City Council made an appointment to the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) during their meeting Tuesday.
Knox City Council President Pro Temp Jeff Berg nominated Shannon Hoekman to fill the available seat on the BZA board. The nomination was passed unanimously.
In other news, Mayor Dennis Estok spoke about updating the current peddler permit for the City of Knox. A food truck Friday event held in Knox was discussed as something the city would be interested in. More information on what changes the city would like to make to the permit will come at a future meeting.
