A Starke County Republican Party Caucus is scheduled to fill a vacancy on the Washington Township Advisory Board.
Anthony “Tony” Black was elected to that board but resigned once he won an earlier Republican Party Caucus to fill a vacancy on the Starke County Council.
Eligible Republicans interested filling the remainder of the Washington Township Advisory Board term that runs until December 31, 2026 are encouraged to file an intention to serve with the Starke County Clerk’s Office by Friday, February 10 at noon CT.
The Starke County Republican Caucus is scheduled for Monday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the James Hardesty Community Center at 17 W. Indiana Avenue in Hamlet. Eligible Precinct Committeemen will vote to select the next board member.
