A caucus will be held to fill a vacant seat left by North Judson Town Council member Matt Brewer.
A letter of resignation was given to the North Judson Town Council Monday night by Ward 2 council member Matt Brewer that will come into effect as of March 31, 2023. Brewer stated that he is resigning due to his relocation to an out-of-town address.
In the letter, Brewer states, “It’s been an honor to work with the departments while serving our community together. Great things were accomplished and great things are on the horizon for the Town of North Judson.”
The caucus will be advertised. Interested candidates must be from Ward 2 and must be a registered Democrat. Any interested individuals must fill out a Declaration of Candidacy form, which can be found on the IN.gov website, and submit it to County Clerk Bernadette Welter Manuel by Friday, March 31.
