A Starke County Democratic Caucus will be held tonight at 5:30 p.m. CT to fill a vacant seat on the North Judson Town Council.
North Judson Town Council member Matt Brewer recently announced his vacation of the seat as he is moving outside of the district.
The deadline has passed to file paperwork to be considered for the seat.
The Caucus will take place at the North Judson Town Hall at 310 Lane Street. Eligible Democrat Precinct Committeemen will vote by a secret ballot to appoint the next Ward 2 representative on the North Judson Town Council.
